My cards today have been inspired by the stunningly gorgeous colours from the Eastern Palace Suite.

Here is a group shot of my projects

#Easternpalacesuite #Lemonlimetwist #KOCreationscards #Handmadecards #Austrlianmade #Workshop #Cardclasses

I actually have had this set for around 2 weeks now...I adored it as soon as I laid my eyes on it and just had to have it!!
I mean LOOK at those delicious colours!!! Fresh Fig Tranquil Tide and Lemon Lime Twist! You get all three of these colours in the  both of the new bundles that are becoming available in MAY.

When it arrived, I was giddy with excitement. I couldn't wait to get at it.
BUT
The worst thing ever happened!
I had a creativity block :( .... What to do.
So, I thought I would leave the bundle sitting in view while I worked on some other projects.
This has helped in the past.
In the end I came up with a plan of action....
I had the idea that playing with the inks and colours would inspire something wonderful...So I did a little smooshing of the inks onto watercolour and shimmer white card stock.
This is what I finally came up with..
I do hope you like them all.

LIME IS WONDERFUL

#Easternpalacesuite #Lemonlimetwist #KOCreationscards #Handmadecards #Austrlianmade #Workshop #Cardclasses

This stunner is Lemon Lime Twist smooshed onto water colour card stock.
I backed this onto Fresh Fig and then layered that onto the Thick Very Vanilla.
YES we now have THICK very Vanilla!!! Love it :)
The focal for this card was made from nesting some of the gorgeous dies in this set. To create this Fresh Fig flower doily I daubed Pink Pirouette onto the petals and then around the edges I daubed Fresh Fig..I stamped the flower shape over the petals. I added gold foil underneath and a gold metallic shape to the centre to help it POP.
The sentiment circling the oustside reads 'Life is Beautiful' and may I say YES IT IS!

 FRESH FIG IS FABULOUS

#Easternpalacesuite #Lemonlimetwist #KOCreationscards #Handmadecards #Austrlianmade #Workshop #Cardclasses

For th Fresh Fig card back ground, I tried the three inks together...Iw asn't convinced I liked all three together, but I think I made it work.
I then repeat stamped one of the outline shapes from the stamp set in Fresh Fig, to finish this I stamped the solid star in the same colour and added a small gold matallic shape.

TRANQUIL TIDE IS TEMPTING

#Easternpalacesuite #Lemonlimetwist #KOCreationscards #Handmadecards #Austrlianmade #Workshop #Cardclasses
This card reminds me of the ocean and the sun...
I deliberately kept this card bare and uncluttered.
The background was created using the shimmer white card stock and with the gold edging backed onto Dapper Denim, gold thread, plus the gold vinyl sticker, it all really sparkled in the sunlight...
I just couldn't catch that in the pictures :(
The focal was again created by nesting some of the dies from the suite and layering them over gold and the largest vinyl sticker.
