Two of my most favourite colours are Lemon Lime Twist and Berry Burst.

Look at how amazing they are together like this!

The Designer Series Paper I used for my card is called Fresh Florals DSP and it comes in all 5 of the new in colours for 2017-2019.

Powder Pink, Fresh Fig, Tranquil Tide, Berry Burst and Lemon Lime Twist

These DSP sheets are double sided with a different pattern on the reverse side.

The seniment on these cards is from 'Happy Birthday Gorgeous' stamp set while the colour behind the focal daisy and images inside are from the 'Background Bits' stamp set.

I made these cards as part of an annual catalogue card swap.
Each swap particpant makes 10 cards using new catty items and swaps with 10 other demsontrators. This way we all get  to see some new ideas for using these gorgeous items and are able to share them with our customers too.

Delightful Daisy - Birthday Daisy

Welcome back crafters 😊

As I promised in my previous blog post I am back to share with you a couple of cards made with the offcuts of the DSP from the CC blog hop...

I used a couple of scrappy bits of ribbon and a couple of Stitched shape frames along with a doily folded in half for a little lacey feel.

Old Olive Birthday

The card bases have been made using an A4 sheet of card stock folded in half and cut at 10.5 cm. The card stock colours are Old Olive and Calypso Coral.

I have added some silver metallic thread to the back of my Daisies.

For a little bling I have added some rhinestone jewels to the focal area, but I kept them tight around the focal leaving a whole area of card that is nice an clean.

For the card above the only difference other than colour, is that I used an embossing folder called Petal Burst to give a little extra interest to the background.

For the inside of each card I added a piece of whisper white card stock for writing a personal message.

Welcome back crafters

I receieved my Pre-Order yesterday! 

Whoo Hoo I did do a little happy dance! lol

A Pre-Order is an order I get to place from the new catalogue before you my customers, so that I may create projects for my customers benefit. This helps you visualise the product and gives you something tactile and real. This helps to see what can be made from the products you will have only see pictures of for a month.

I have to admit I was EXTREMELY excited 😀 But I had to be patient I have my daugher home ill, so she comes first.

BUT I got to play today with the new Daisy Delight set...OMG 😇 heavenly

The papers are gorgeous, the stamps and punch are so easy to work with and the matching accessories are just beautiful. 

I created something especially for #GDP086

It's a card....of course lol I will use this card either as R.A.K or send it to a lovely person that has helped me out just recently.

Here is the sketch design from the GDP team this week.

The 'Daisy Delight' stamp set is a two step set. 

Being photopolymer (clear) this makes the two steps so very easy to perform. You can line everything up so easily. 

There are 16 stamps in total. 

Can you can see the back ground daisy? In the solid blue with darker blue outlines? That has been created using the two step process. You stamp the solid image first and then stamp the outline in a darker colour. You can do the lined image first and then the solid...I just find it easier to do it the other way. A personal preferance thing really lol.

The bonus with this stamp set is it has a matching daisy punch for the larger daisy flower that you can purchase along with the stamp set as a bundle!!

The Background

1. For the background of my card I took a single sheet of the double sided DSP from the Delightful Daisy pack. It is washed out Night Of Navy on one side with a stripey pattern and has floral design the other side which  is just divine..
2. I cut one length from this at 10cm wide. 
3. I then cut this alomost in half at 14.5 cm, putting the larger piece aside for another card tomorrow 😉.
4. With the 14.5cm x 10 cm piece I cut this into different width strip lengthways. I then glued them onto a piece of whisper white on an angle.
5. I turned every second piece over so that the opposite patern was showing, overlapping the edges to adjust the widths just a little more.
6. I backed that onto Night of Navy Card stock leaving a only tiny edge.

 The Focal

1. The focal area of this card is the rectangle in the centre. I stamped on a spare scrap of whisper white in Dapper Denim the two step smaller daisies and then fussy cut them.
2. I cut an edge from 2 glitter enamel shapes and positioned them in the centre. I also fussy cut a tiny little flower from the left over bit of DSP.
3. I grouped some stamped images together to create a posy in Old Olive and Dapper Denim, Night Of Navy and Calypso Coral..The placed the fussy cut flowers over the bare stems.
4. I stamped my main daisy in Dapper Denim 3 times and punched them out. Layering it together with glue dots I placed a gold faceted gem in the centre.
5. The sentiment is from the same stamp set. 
6. The 'Thank You' is stamped in Night of Navy while the finishing little message has been embossed in white on Night of Navy card stock.

All of these items will be available for purchase from the 1st of June 2017.
