Carols Of Christmas bundle - Onstage Swaps 2017

Hello everyone and welcome back to my blog ๐Ÿ˜‰

Over the next few weeks I will be away visiting family as well as attending THE ONSTAGE EVENT, so my posts won't be very regular until December.
For this I apologise in advance.
I will still be creating for posts while I am away, so please stay tuned xx.

BUT
FOR TODAY
I am sharing with you all my card created for the Onstage swaps at the Stampin Up convention in Melbourne!

I just LOVE these events!
We get to preview new release items, see the new catalogue
AND
 play with the products too.
 PLUS
We get to catch up with old friends and meet some new ones to boot!

Here is my swap card.

Carols of Christmas.

I made a little pinteresty style photo showing the steps I used to create this card with.

I used my layering Ovals framelits for the DSP and black scalloped oval.
The cute little deer from the Carols of Christmas stamp set and the pine trees for the silhouettes in black and silver from the Card Front Builder dies which is part of the Carols Of Christmas bundle.
The DSP used is called Merry Music Speciality Designer Series Paper.

I have used a selection of gorgeous stamp sets and DSP for this gorgeous decor item.

Here is a quick template using 12 x 12 DSP shadow box each score line is 2cm apart. So score at 2,4,6,and 8 cm then turn and score again until all four edges have been scored. Turn and score two lines 4 cm long 1 at 10cm. and another 2cm before the other four score lines. Refer to picture below. Turn and score opposite ends identically.
Trim away corners following xxxx cut lines.

Follow instructions as above to complete the shadow boxes..
