I have been wanting to use this gorgeous stamp set since I saw it in the new catalogue! It truly does make card making super easy.
If you wanted you could leave it black and white and layer it on cardstock and voila you have a beautiful statement card.!
I adore how the roses and leaves are among the letters. Don't you?!?

A quick run down on how I created this card.

For this card my card base is Early Espresso layered with thick Whisper White.
I stamped my image onto a piece of thick Whisper White then water coloured using Marina Mist for the flowers and Soft Suede for the leaves.
The colouring was done in 3 stages, first I applied a layer to the shadows and then washed a small amoint of colour over the top.
I then waited for it to dry and re-applied the colour in the same manner as the first layer.
When the second layer was dry I used my Stampin' Write markers to add more depth to the shadow area and highlighted the lighter areas using the White craft refill. I placed a small drip of white onto a clear block and then picked it up and applied using a damp aqua painter.
*When trying this technique I find it handy to have a tissue on hand to help keep the aqua painter damp but not wet!
When all of my colours were dry, I trimmed the edges so that small parts of the image would hang over the edge. I fussy cut around these overhanging edges.
I backed this with a piece of Early Espresso and then layered that onto thick Whisper White.
I added 3 of the small blue glitter enamel dots to finish.

I was thrilled with how it finished.
I do hope you like it too
