Stamping Sunday Blog Hop - All My Love

#KOCreationsCards #AllMyLoveSuite #StampinUp30 #Valentines #Anniversary #Romance #CardMaking #SteppedUpCardMaking #Beginnercardmaker #Casualcardmaker #Avidcardmaker #Roses #Craft

Hello everyone, welcome back to my blog.

Today I am hopping as part of the Stamping Sunday crew.
We have chosen to showcase the 'All My Love' suite, which is available from pages 5-6 of the new Occasions catalogue..
This suite has such a romantic feel to it that lends itself nicely to Valentines, Anniversary and even Birthdays.
Catalogues below in PDF format. Click on the pictures to open them up

Don't have a Stampin' Up! demonstrator yet? Want a copy of these catalogues?
Contact me today for your copy to be posted out to you.

I have chosen to use items from page 5 of the catalogue for my projects today.
The bundle I am using has a two step stamp that enables you to have your flowers all stamped at the same time! While step two enables you to add in the leaves. It even adds the shading for you, how cool is that!

I have an image below showing the first steps of my cards.

Left                                             Middle                                         Right
This is step one of the two step        Step 2 adds in the leaves.            Here I have added my own                          stamp.                                                                                    step. This is called daubing.                                                                                                                      Lightly and gently spreading                                                                                                                        a touch of colour around                                                                                                                         the white spaces surrounding                                                                                                                 the rose bouquet.

Beginner Crafter Card

My first card today showcases the two step stamp  as a stand alone image, along with a sentiment. This simple design is perfect for the beginner crafter.

Intermediate (Casual) Crafter Card

Here I have stepped up the design slightly by adding some colour to the background, a die cut layer as well as some embellishments (Bling)

LOVE YOU

Avid Crafter Card

For my last card I have stepped up another notch by adding a slightly different layer. This includes die cutting as well as the technique 'Fussy Cuttting' for that extra skill level.

HAPPY VALENTINES

Stampin' Dreams Blog Hop - Colouring

Welcome 😊
You are joining me today for a blog hop with the Stamping Dreams crew.
We are all focusing on colouring this month. Using some of Stampin' Up!'s fabulous colouring range.

I can't say I have a favourite of them, but I do enjoy colouring with the new Stampin' Blends that are now available.

You are currently here with me Kim Oliver. I will have a full list of blog hop participants closer to the end of this post.
I have chose to use the wonderfully easy to use Stampin' Blends and the gorgeous Designer Series Paper from the Occasions catalogue called Petal Passion, along with the Petal Palette bundle.

It's perfect for colouring as you can see below.

#kocreationcards #petalpassion #petalpalette #cardmaking #stampinup #stampinblends #birthdaycards #valentines

Here are my cards

Happy Birthday to You

#kocreationcards #petalpassion #petalpalette #cardmaking #stampinup #stampinblends #birthdaycards #valentines

I coloured my sheet (almost) completely before I decided to cut into it. I hated cutting it too 😢  But in the end I think I managed to showcase the coloured paper as much as I could and created something beautiful to give as well.

 From The Heart

#kocreationcards #petalpassion #petalpalette #cardmaking #stampinup #stampinblends #birthdaycards #valentines

For both cards I have used the layering circle framelits plus the stitched shapes to create the focal area.

Top 10 Highlights Winners Blog Hop - January - Petal Palette

Hello everyone and Welcome 😊

H💗ppy V💗lentines D💗y

I am so thrilled to be part of the International Highlights Top 10 Winners Blog Hop from January 2018.
Our theme from Jan 2018 was Occasions and 2018 Sale-A-Bration products and that is our theme for today too.
We hope you enjoy our projects, I will have a complete list of all winners blogs closer to the end of this post..

Below is my card that was chosen as an International Highlights Winner.
THANK YOU to all of you that voted for my card.

💙💚💛💜

Here is the card that you voted into first place.

To see the full post for the above card please click HERE

I chose a 2018 Occasions bundle for today's project. It's one that I have been playing with since the release of the 2018 Occasions and Sale-A-Bration catty's.
I can't seem to put it down 😲
The bundle I chose is the Petal Palette bundle with the Memories and More card pack.

I also used some of the coordinating products from the Petal Passion suite.

Here is my card

Life is so Much Better With You In It

#kocreationscards #petalpassion #petalpalette #2018occasions #2018saleabration #valentines #cardmaking #papercraft #rubberstamping #stampinup #roses #inspiredbynature

A beautiful card just perfect for today 😊 being Valentines Day and all.
Can you see the embossed pieces in the background? I embossed a scrap piece of Wild Wasabi and then split it down the middle.
The sentiment and lattice runner are part of the Petal Palette bundle. The lattice runner is held in place with the help of the ribbon adn glue dots.
The layer beneath the vellum sentiment is a small striped Memories and More card with a piece of Whisper White trimmed to size with a circle die cut out.

Here is a close up of the gorgeous rose bunch.

#kocreationscards #petalpassion #petalpalette #2018occasions #2018saleabration #valentines #cardmaking #papercraft #rubberstamping #stampinup #roses #inspiredbynature

For my rose bouquet I actually coloured and then fussy cut part of the Petal Palette Designer Series Paper. The rose arrangement on the DSP is slightly different to the rose stamp in the bundle.
I added the gorgeous organza ribbon as a bow accent, tied off with some silver metallic thread.
I finished my card with a few scattered rhinestones.

Thank you so very much for taking the time to visit and have a read. Here is the list I mentioned earlier of the other talented creators.

Today I am sharing with you a sneak peek of a NEW suite called Petal Passion.
This suite is available from the new 2018 Occasions catalogue on the 3rd of January.

I used a couple of Memories and More cards from the suite to create this pretty card for those celebrating their love.

LOVE

#KOCreationscards #Petalpassionsuite #2018occasionscatalogue #2018Saleabration #Love #Valentines #Weddings #Bluewrens #Birds #Nature
To compliment the memories and more card bases I added a branch die cut from the Petal Palette Bundle, I trimmed this down a little to fit my needs.
The petal Palette bundle is AWESOME! It has 2 stamp sets PLUS the thinlits! AND buying as a bundle you get to save 10% Who doesn't love savings!
BUT WAIT THERE'S MORE!
After you have purchased this bundle you are then entitled to a FREE item from the NEW 2018 Sale-A-Brations catalogue 😎 So you win again!

I wanted a touch more colour than Powder Pink and black/grey and white. So, I fussy cut two little birds from the cards out of the small card packs and made them blue wrens just by colouring with my Stampin' Blends. They were black/grey and white to start with..
I also coloured just a corner of the powder pink flowers along the bottom.
The sentiment on the left of my card has been stamped and is from the Petal Palette bundle.

I do hope you have enjoyed my project today.

Thank you for visiting my blog.
If you have any questions at all please don't hesitate to ask.
I always reply!

Crazy Crafters Blog Hop with Lisa Curcio

Welcome back to my blog
I am taking part today in a blog hope with guest Lisa Curcio along with some other talented people from the Crazy Crafters Group. We are all choosing a project from Lisa's blog to CASE (Copy And Selective Edit)
You will find a list at the end of my blog for you to follow.
FYI you are currently here with me Kim Oliver.

The project I have chosen to CASE is this one below

Spotlight with Lisa, Flurry of Wishes, www.lisasstampstudio.com

The elements chosen from this card is basically the layout design. I made 4 cards for my CASE and I will now share them with you.

I chose to use the gorgeous 'Sending Love' Suite from the upcoming Occasions catalogue for my projects.
Can't wait for these to be available to you all! You are going to have a ball going through the new catalogue and choosing your favourites.
Can't wait!?!  Then join my team HERE

'SENDING LOVE'

#Sendinglovesuite #KOCreationscards #Cardmaking #Handmade #Valentines #Sealedwithakiss #Australianmade #Sentwithlove #Stitchedshapesframelits

Isn't this such a gorgeous set!!! They make LOVE orientated cards so easy to create! They would be perfect for Valentines, Anniversaries and or Weddings...It's going to be quite versatile too as I noticed a couple of stamps would be perfect for little note cards.

Those lips look just just so luscious! I used that stamp on 3 out of my 4 cards hahaha

'Sealed WITH A Kiss' 1

#Sendinglovesuite #KOCreationscards #Cardmaking #Handmade #Valentines #Sealedwithakiss #Australianmade #Sentwithlove #Stitchedshapesframelits

For each card I chose my paper before cutting it as shown in pictures. I chose DSP pieces that I could mix and match, so that some cards would be more red and others more white. I then used the contrasting colour for the layer beneath, red for mostly white DSP and white for mostly red DSP.

'Sealed WITH A Kiss' 2

#Sendinglovesuite #KOCreationscards #Cardmaking #Handmade #Valentines #Sealedwithakiss #Australianmade #Sentwithlove #Stitchedshapesframelits
With the card above I cut the 'Sealed WITH A Kiss' stamp into 3 sections so I could stamp the sentiment where I wanted it.
I can still use this stamp as a whole...which you can see in the image below.

'RED Sealed With A Kiss'

I try to carry through the theme from the front of each card to the inside, as I feel this adds a little something more for the recipients.
