I simply adore that Spring is nearly here in Australia. We have had such a cold winter and I am really looking forward to more sunshine and all blooming plants that Spring brings with it.

I have used a couple of items for this card.
One of which was used for the background texture. I created that using an embossing folder from the new Holiday Catalogue. So you are getting a sneak peek of whats going to be available to you all VERY soon.

Here is the Challenge Palette for #CI53

 Petal Pink, Mint Macaron, Whisper White, Bermbuda Bay and Night of Navy

You must use all 5 of these gorgeous colours for this challenge, plus you can add to your design Gold or Silver.

I have chosen once again to create two totally different styles for this pretty colour challenge.

'Mothers Day' is fast approaching so I have chosen to create a card specifically for this purpose. My Mum loves flowers of any description and is also an avid card maker too. So I know this card will be appreciated.

My second card (below) can be used for any occasion as I have left it without a sentiment. I have created this card using 3 different sets. I adore mixing and matching sets.
I have used 2 thinlit sets 'Butterfly Beauty' thinlits along with the 'Wonderful Floral' framelit dies which I mixed with the 'Dragonfly Dreams' stamp set (background)
The butterfly thinlits die has been chopped into individual butterflies, so I could place them more randomly.
I have chosen gold as my accompanying colour accent for both of my cards.
