Welcome back Crafter's

Today we are all hopping along with Rachel Tessman and CASEing some of Rachel's fantastic projects..

You are here with my (Kim Oliver) I will have a list of participants for you to keep following the hop to see more gorgeous projects all CASEd from Rachel Tessman's work.

My CASE today is this fabulous birthday book of Rachels that she made using some items from a Paper Pumpkin kit (we don't get these here in Australia)
We live in hope that one day this will change for us Aussies!

As we are not able to get the Paper Pumkin kits here, I CASEd this birthday book using DSP, framelits, stamps, window sheets and foil sheets
As it is coming closer to that time of year when our DSP designs are renewed and updated, I thought this would be a perfect project and time to help use up some thoroghly gorgeous Designer Series Paper (DSP) I had stashed away and some washi tape (DWT) too!

I am trying my hardest to overcome my hoarding habit!!!

I used the irregular circle stamp from the Happy Celebrations stamp set and stamped circles in groups.
I then stamped the celebrations sentiment in versamark and applied gold embosing foil. I heated it with the heat tool to make it shiny. It stands out nicely against the bright circles.

I used my computer to make my numbers and lines for each month. I alternated the colours between Pink Pirouette and Whisper White. These pages were glued ontop of the DSP and then I added contrasting Washi tape top and bottom of each page. I added a blank page for notes or even just doodeling lol
Most of us doodle in our note books at some stage or another.
I know I do :)

Rachels birthday book, had silver numbers from the paper pumkin kit for each month, The numbers were sitting on the monthly tabs...I went to use the number framelits that Stampin' Up! have, but they were a little large for this job.
So, for now I have left this area black...
When I work out who I am giving this too, I will personalise it to suit them along the tab areas.

To finish my birthday book, I tied ribbon and twine around the binders. This added even more of those wonderful bright colours to the front cover....
