Count My Blessings - #GDP107

Welcome back everyone 😊

It is half way through the first week of school holidays here in Tassie, and I am ALREADY exhausted! Hahaha
We have been travelling in the car every second day for over 4 hours visiting grandparents and then having friends over playing in between those travelling days.

I finally managed a day at home today with out visitors or travelling or phones ringing.
I just sat outside in the sunshine and watched my children happliy playing with their pets!
I realised once again ( i quite often have this feeling come over me) that I am one of the lucky ones in life. I am so very grateful for my family.
They fill my life and my heart with laughter and love each and every single day.

So, while the were playing, I created a card that expresses how I feel about my family.
AND

here it is.

Count My Blessings

While I was editing the photo's I checked out the GDP page as I haven't had much of a chance to actually play with any of their challenges over the last few weeks. I adore seeing all of the gorgeous entries that are placed every week and regularly visit to see whats happening.
Well I found that their theme this week is Gratitude #GDP107

Whoohoo, I have a card I can enter this week 😄

Here is the inside view

To colour the images on the inside and the front I used my Stampin' Write Markers and coloured the areas with the thick nib end.
I used Lemon Lime Twist, Powder Pink, Old Olive, and Rich Razzleberry. Once all coloured I huffed my breath on the stamp and then pressed firmly onto the paper.

the front image has also been lightly coloured with an aqua painter to lift the flower just a little.
the background DSP is from Painted Autumn. Part of the Painted Harvest suite.

I am going to give this card to my WHOLE family on the day of our wedding anniversary.
Not just my hubby! Our whole family wouldn't work if we all didn't give and take each and every day and I really want ALL of them to know how much I appreciate having each of them in my life.

Thank you for visiting my blog today.

I do hope you have enjoyed my card and what inspired it today.
