Crazy Crafter's Blog Hop with Shannon Lane - Hello Lov

Image may contain: text

Hello everyone :)

Once again I welcome you all back to my blog.
Today I am participating in (yes you guessed it) A BLOG HOP!!!!

But not just ANY Blog Hop a CRAZY CRAFTER'S Blog Hop!

And our special guest is the talented Shannon Lane OMG
You are currently here with me (Kim Oliver) You will find a list of names at the end of this blog to keep moving through the hop

We get to CASE Shannon Lane Squeeeee....... ahem sorry, just got a bit excited there!

But BOY OH BOY didn't I  just LOVE going through Shannon's posts and projects, I was literally drooling at all the gorgeous colours and ideas...

But in the end I had to choose at least one project to CASE.

This is what I chose!

Isn't it divine!?!
And coming up to Valentines day I thought it would be very appropriate :)

OK
For my CASE of this fab design I kept the colours (How could anyone not!)

I noticed circles embossed into the whisper white front of Shannon's card, which gave me the idea for my card!
You can just see them in the picture above.

Here is my CASE card of Shannon Lane's gorgeous design

HELLO LOVE

I used the 2 smallest Stitched Shapes circle Framelits on Melon Mambo, Bermuda Bay and Daffodil Delight. I glued them randomly onto the white card front, when dry I trimmed the excess of the sides. I heat embossed in white the sentiment onto the Basic Black circle - the 3rd size of the Stitched Shapes Framelits.

I loved the idea of a non traditional Valentines card, so I made all the larger hearts black (they remind me of some funky sunglasses lol) and then decided I wanted more black to be visible! So I die cut hearts from the front I made and these are the ones I used over the top of the striped hearts

It black inside the circles added more contrast against those gorgeous and vibrant colours.
Don't you think!?!

For the inside I wanted something simpler but still wanted to carry the theme through.
As the front was so BOLD and Busy, I just used the three main colours for the little hearts glued to the bottom left corner.
