ESAD 2017 Last Chance Sale-A-Bration Blog Hop

Hi and Welcome.

I am taking part in my very first ESAD blog hop,
so I am more than a little excited :)

We are all showcasing the Occasions + Sale-A-Bration Catty's and the products that are available to you.

During Sale-A-Bration for every $90.00 you spend (not including postage)  you get to choose 1 FREE item. Sale-A-Bration offer ends 31st March

THAT'S LESS THAN 1 MONTH LEFT FOR THIS OFFER!!!
Only 26 Day to be precise...
So BE QUICK!!!!

I have chosen to showcase 3 items today.

I used for my project the Window Box Thinlits Dies, the Free Glimmer Paper and the Free Avant Garden stamp set.

The Window Box Framelits are from the Occasions catalogue page 43, Avant Garden is from the 1st release of the Sale-A-Bration catty on page 5 and the Glimmer Paper is from the Second release catty, in  the centre fold of catty. Whit Whoo ;)

Here is my project.

I named it lol ..... it's one of my quirks :)

 Glimmer Me Happy

I used the 3 colours that the Glimmer Paper is available in to create this design with.
Those colours are
  • Mint Macaron
  • Bermuda Bay
  • Sweet Sugarplum
  • My card base is Whisper White as is the front and sentiment.
I stamped the flower image first in sweet sugar plum...Stamping one flower then stamping again beside it without re-inking, this enables you to get a layered effect.
I turned the card and repeated the process until I had a nice little posy happening....
I stamped the solid leaf, in Bermuda Bay ink in pairs. Then the stamens and spots, which were also stamped in Bermuda Bay as well as the sentiment.
In between the pairs of solid leaves, I stamped the tiny leaves in Mint Macaron.

I loved the way this card finished.
I loved it so very much that I needed to have a little extra something to match it, for when I give this to my niece!!!

So, I made a hexagon box for a little birthday gift I have put away....
My niece is having a birthday soon and I have a small gift for her....I think it will fit perfectly inside this little box!

Glimmer Me Happy
with
Window Birthday Box

I stamped the flower image from the card on every second panel around the box.
I used the square window dies to cut dots on the alternating panels to match the dots on the card. For the top of the box I used the pretty flower window die.
Each window has been backed with Bermuda Bay Glimmer Paper.
The sentiment for the box has been stamped in Sweet Sugarplum.
I used the little banner maker from the Window Box thinlits set to help create the banner ends and folds on both the card and the box. WOW this little tool makes a 3D banner so much easier!
I love how it sits up so neatly :)

Inside View

For those that visit my blog regularly you will already know this!
So, this is for the new visitors here today.
I always carry my theme from the front of my cards onto the inside...It's another little quirk I have.
It adds an extra special touch for the recipient, lets them know you went that extra mile (so to speak)
My opinion only of course :)

As I am part of a blog hop please click the link below to keep moving through the blog...Kelly Kent is the next blogger to be showcasing the Occasions Catty and the Sale-A-Bration items.
