Welocme back crafty people...
I have actually had a full day at home today....That means I got to create whoo hoo :)
You might have seen from my previous post that it is currently school holidays in the little state I live in. For me that means my children become the focus of the household...
HAPPY KIDS HAPPY MUM lol
It also works the other way too though, hahaha!

The team from Global Design Project have given us the challenge of Sparkles/Bling while the Design Team over at Colour Inkspiration have given us a colour swatch of *Mint Macaron, Daffodil Delight, Pink Pirouette and *Tip Top Taupe.. *Two of these colours are about to retire fro t he old catalogue,
BUT we have 5 new Incolours for us to play with coming out in the new catalogue along with heaps of other new products too!!
Here are the pics of this weeks challenges
I thought by putting these two challenges together I could come up with a card that was pretty and classy too.
I chose Bling from #GDP083. So, I added a touch of gold for a gorgeous and classy finish for my card design.
Here are the cards.

I thought I would have a play with our Hexagons Dynamic Textured Embossing Folder (TIEF) to get started.
I used Tip Top Taupe and inked onto the raised side of the embossing folder..I wiped parts of it off..huffed my breath onto the ink and laid the card over the inked open folder, rubbing the card stock gently with my hand to make sure the ink and card made contact. I did this twice to give the doubled effect you can see on both cards..

What did you think??
The stamp set I used is my all time favourite 'Touches of Texture'. The dog wood blossoms were coloured using an aqua painter with Pink Pirouette for the flowers, I coloured the centres of the flowers using Daffodol Delight and I used Mint Macaron for the leaves.
I inked the spritz stamp with Daffodil Delight to gove the impression of pollen in the air. The bees were the next logical step from that, appropriately theit legs are also thick with golden yellow pollen.
A picture of both cards side by side.

You can see from the side by side picture that one card has been stepped up. I added more of the flowers plus more of the wire effect, I also added metallic gold thread behind the sentiment
If you would like a list of all items used, then I have added them to the carousel below for your convenience
