Welcome back crafty people.
I have a few things to share with you today.
One is my entry into #GDP082
This is the sketch that the design team have came up with for this weeks challenge
Before we start can I just say I am in love with colour!
I have always enjoyed using bright colours, but I have finally learnt how to put them together in a way that looks amazing. Took me long enough! (well I think it looks pretty good any way lol)
I also adore water colouring and this particular way of adding colour to the water colour paper is just so easy and I must say FUN!
Smooshing! Have you tried it??
This is my second bit on news!
I will be trying another FB LIVE class on Monday 17th April at 10.30am to show the Smooshing technique! Hopefully my internet connection holds!
Can't be as bad as the last effort can it!
Already stressing! hahahaha
These cards below will be for R.A.K. (random acts of kindness) in May. These will be the last set using some of these products, as I am sure some will be retiring (sad face)
But the GREAT new is, we will have new products to play with so very soon!
The new Catalouge products will be released For Sale on the 1st of June.
Here is the main reason for my blogs my projects lol :)
I have kept true to the sketch for this weks challenge.
ENJOY!

The colours used are Tempting Turquoise, Daffodil Delight and Peekaboo Peach. The card base is thick Whisper White.
I splashed Whisper White and water droplets over the dried colours for the splatter effect.
I also added white perfect accents with the backs removed as 3d water droplets.
I used a piece of the 2017-2107 in colour DSP for the side contrast and added basic black twine for an accent.
The focal was stamped using the Labeler Alphabet. I used my aqua painter to wipe colour over the top half of label. I punched the butterflies using the bitty buttefly punch with the left over piece of coloured paper.
To finish I added a few black metallic sequins to drag the black further onto the card.
Seeing that I had coloured a whole peice of water color paper, I decided to make another card.
I just stepped it up a little by adding the flourish from flourishing phrases and some dots of white perfect accents
ENJOY !
Take 2 stepped up

Wow Kim ... well done with tying all the elements on both cards together perfectly, from the watercolour background to the butterflies punched out of the left over watercoloured card. Those little pops of black really highlight the colours wonderfully. Thanks for playing along with the Global Design Project sketch challenge this week and don't forget to pin your project to the official Global Design Team Pinterest board.
