Welcome back crafters 😊
I am participating in a blog hop with ESAD today
We are all showcasing the The Eastern Palace Bundle.
I do hope you will find some inspiration from all of the projects on show today.
You are currently here with me Kim Oliver. Further down you will find a next button to
I personally love this suite for two main reasons
- It's available in two different size bundles for the month of MAY ONLY The Premier Bundle and the Starter Bundle
- It is so very versatile and can be used for ANY occasion.
- Oops did I say 2 reasons lol oh well
Here are my card projects for your viewing pleasure. I do hope you like them as much as I enjoyed creating them.

This card below was the very first card I created using this set... I was basically just having a play to see where it led.
I wasn't really happy with how it finished...it looked a bit plain so I added the metallic shapes in gold and heat embosed the Hello with gold embossing powder too...I still feel it is missing something though 😕
My first card as mentioned feels unfinished still.

I used the DSP as the background for each of my cards...#Loveitchopit
The DSP in this suite is just divine!
Look at those gorgeous colours. Lemon Lime Twist is just delicious and that Dapper Denim with the Gold stripes oh WOW! It looks so regal.
And then we have the creamy Very Vanilla DSP that has a repeat image to give a light moroccan feel.
There are of course a few more designs of DSP in the pack and if you keep hopping through this spectaular hop you will most certainly them, I am sure.

The Premier Bundle comes with a packet of tassles!!!
SWEET
iI love tassles lol
I used just one of them above to finish this card. There are two more colours in the pack, you get 12 in total, four of each colour....Gold, Tranquil Tide and Fresh Fig.
The Dies in the Eastern Palace Suite are totally amazing too!!
There are 14 pieces in the die set and the possibilities are just endless! Oh the shapes and layers you can create.
I spent part of a day die cutting for a display as part of my class prep a couple of weeks ago to show them some the effects of nesting the dies and mixing them with our layering circles die set.

Above you can see a selection of die cuts that are left over from my class display and creative play.
Above you can see some have been cut completely out to create a doily style while the couple on the left have been left inlaid ready for a contrast colour.
You can cut them out completely to create a doily by snipping the little bits holding them inplace or use the layering circle dies that co-ordinate perfectly with this suite.
Rich Dapper Denim

The card above has had some metallic shapes added plus some gold thread and an embossed sentiment...all in gold....😍
I really thought it needed a little extra gold lol
Gold fever set in I think hahaha.
You can never have too much bling.
But Wait...
there's more!
I did a little blog showing these cards around 2 weeks ago, but seeing that we are showcasing the Eastern Palace Suite here, I felt it was appropriate to share them again. 😍 Also once I got started I really couldn't stop playing with this set!!

These cards have been created using a technique called smooshing on water colour and shimmer white card stock. I used the inks that are available with both bundles.
Lemon Lime Twist, Tranquil Tide and Fresh Fig.
