Our theme for this winners blog hop is once again BABY.

I have used a stamp set that is soon to be retired. I must admit I am just a little sad to be saying goodbye to this set as it is perfect for welcoming newborns to thee family.

BUT 

In saying that Stampin' Up! have replaced it with a stunning new set that is even more adorable! I can't wait for you to see that beauty.

For now here is my project created using the soon to be retired

Isn't that image adorable!
It melts me every time.

This card has a panelled front that is raised. The background cardstock has been repeat stamped with Craft ink using the stars image. The focal image was stamped, painted and then fussy cut.
I have then adhered the enamel star shapes over the stamped stars.

Kylie Bertucci's International Highlights Top 10 Winners Blog Hop - Baby - Showers of Happiness

Welcome back everyone 😊

Today I am part of the Top Ten Winners International Highlights. This hop and each months highlights are hosted by Kylie Bertucci.

For today's Winners Blog Hop we are keeping the same theme of 'Baby' that was used for the June Highlights.

So, I thought I would use the same stamp set that got me here... 'Moon Baby'. It is such a sweet card for all babies, welcoming the new arrivals and for Baby showers too .

Here is the card I created using the stamp set mixed with the Lovely Words thinlits die set and a piece from the Delightful Daisy DSP!
I love mixing our products, that's one of the best things about Stampin' Up!

My card base is Thick Whipser White.

I used the The Tranquil Tide DSP from the Delightful Daisy DSP layered onto Tranquil Tide card stock. The DSP reminds me of a twinkling night sky for some reason lol even though I can't say I have ever seen a green night sky 😜 I love the fading/washed out look of this paper. What do you think?

I cut the 'Lovely' word from Tranquil Tide card stock and layered a piece of vellum cut using the Sweet and Sassy framelits.

I used wink of Stella over the  piece of vellum to give loads of extra sparkle and to help keep with the twinkling night idea I can see in my minds eye.

The image was stamped onto thick whisper white, coloured using  ink and aqua painters and then fussy cut. Can you see the spots on the umbrella? I tried to give them a little dimensional look by adding a tiny spot of craft ink. I have to admit it looks better IRL. I popped the image onto mini dimensionals for a more 3D effect.

The sentiment is also from the Moon Baby stamp set and has been heat embossed in white.

I fnished this sweet card using silver stars from the metallic enamel shapes plus some small Rhinestone basic jewels.

I tried to really get a picture of how the Wink of Stella shimmered away inside the heart. I adore how it shimmers and twinkles with the light.

Kylie's Junes International Blog Highlights - Baby - Moon Baby

Hello crafty people 😊 Welcome back to my blog.

For my card I used the 'Moon Baby' stamp set  and a sheet of DSP from the 'Whole Lot of Lovely' set.

Stamp images in Memento black ink. Then water colour them using aqua painters. Once all coloured and dry, fussy cut out images.

The colours used with the aqua painters were 

• Powder Pink
• Daffodil Delight 
• Peekaboo Peech
• Melon Mambo
• Soft Suede

Using the Layering Circles framelits cut out a hole slightly larger than the inside of the moon arc from the sheet of DSP.

Trim the DSP so that there is a 4mm edge. Position the trimmed DSP sheet over the top of the Whisper White card base and mark the centre of the circle. Turn over the inside circle piece from the DSP, so that the Pool Party flowers are showing and then glue to card base.. Adhere the little fluffy toys and stars in place.

Using Powder Pink  trim a piece so that 2mm shows around the edge of the DSP piece. Lay the DSP over the top and mark the centre of the circle. Then nest 2 circles dies, the first one used and the next size up, making sure to position correctly over the centre mark,  run it throught he big shot. This gives a small frame to go around the front of the DSP circle. Glue circle frame in place. 

Cut a circle from Acetate window sheet using the second circle die, this gives room for glueing. Glue in place on the underside of the DSP.

Using the Foam Adhesive strips adhere the Powder Pink cards stock to the DSP front. 

Place desired filling for shaker over the top of the circle on the card base, where fluffy toys have been adhered. 

Using multi purpose glue (tombow) adhere the DSP and powder pink to the Whisper White card base. Making sure that the sprinkles used stay on the circle.

You will have a powder pink circle left. Use this and a scrap piece of Whisper white to create your sentiment with by die cutting the two smallest circles and then layer. I added a small poece of Peekaboo Peach 'Seam Binding' ribbon to finish the sentiment and tie the peekaboo colour in from the fluffy toys and stars

Finish of with some Rhinestone basic Jewels
