I have chosen to create seasonal cards. 1 card for each season throughout the year..
Plus as an added little extra, I created a little co-ordinating desk top calender.

Today I will share some details of the Summer themed card and I will go into more details for the other 2 over the next few days.

The card base for this card is Thick Whipser White card stock and Old Olive card stock as contrasting layers.

I created this card by using 2 different summer themed cards from the Memories and More card pack. The back card represents the sun, while the front represents for me the relaxing and enjoyment of this warmth and life in general.

The word HAPPY with the coloured horizontal stripes on the focal area of the card is actually a clear acetate overlay.

The little sentiment 'Love This Life Of Mine' has been taken from one of the two sheets of stickers that are also included in the Memories and More cardpack. These stickers are not flimsy little paper ones, but thick sturdy card stock! So you can mount them as they are onto dimensionals, as I have done above.

I added a tiny deconstructed strip of burlap ribbon to help give a beachy feel to my summer images.

There are 4 of the acetate sheets as part of the Memories and More card pack, each one a slightly different overlay design that represents a season, and they can be mixed and matched to help create themes with. There are also 2 sheets of stickers. Therse stickers are of high quality thick card stock and match perfectly the card designs.

The little calender is so simple to create. Just fold an A4 sheet in half and then trim to fit the small Memories and More cards. Score the front of the card base across the middle, around the half way point. Decorate calender as you would like, then adhere it to the bottom are of the card base.. Arrange your Memories and More cards in the order you prefer and punch 2 holes to tie the copper trim through the top of the cards. Don't tie it too tight. This lets them flip over so you can change the picture as needed.
When completed, Pop up and display 😊

Stepping Up - Wishing you A Wonderful day

Welcome back crafty people :)

I have had a good weekend creating and preparing for a couple of upcoming events planned on my blog calender + my first ever live class/chat.

 I had a bit of a rough run this morning with the live class, my internet kept dropping out.

I ended up doing laps of my house just to pick up the connection again. Just goes to show even with everything set and ready to tock, Murphy's Law will still find a way to screw with you lmao.

 This was my planned FB Live class for this morning.

Craf fronts from step 1 to step 4

1. In step one you can see a grouping of stamped images. Starting with the special reason flowers. The small flower was stamped 3 times only inked once. This gives the illusion of layers. I have added Clear wink  of stella to the dragonfly wings.without having to die cut. 
2. I added the twine and lifted up the sentiment onto a banner. The addition of the bow helps to finish this card.
3. For this step I added more depth by stamping then die cutting out the leaves and the body of the dragonfly 
4. Final step I added a stamped and die cut flower to go with the leaves. I also added a die cut dragonfly. This was stamped onto vellum, then painted over the wings with Clear wink of stella, bending the wings gives the illusion of flight..For the final touch I removed the back of 3 white perfect accents and added these as water droplets on the leaves.

I tried to use the inside of the card as a demonstration for the process of stamping and how I created the focal image for the four cards fronts.

What do you think of these pretty colours together??
