Crazy Crafters Blog Hop with Georgia Giguere

Image may contain: text

Hello everyone :)
Welcome back to my blog!

Today we (The Crazy Crafter's) are hopping with a super talented lady by the name of Georgia Giguere.
We have all chosen a project of Georgia's to CASE (Copy and Selective Edit) and have come together to share with you what we have accomplished.
You are currently here with me (Kim Oliver)
I will have a list at the end of my blog for you to keep following through the hop.

This is the card from Georgia's blog that I have chosen to CASE.

I chose to use the general layout for my project although I did change the way mine opens.

I had an order for a child's birthday and as I knew that this was coming up, I went searching through Georgia's projects for some inspiration.
I was so very happy when I found this Lift Me Up card.
It gave me an idea instantly for the little girls birthday card!

The Suite I chose to use was Cupcakes and Carousels.

Oh my what a gorgeous Suite it is too, it's available until the 31st of May and can be found on page 9 of the Occasions Catalogue!

Here is my card.

Because Spoiling You Is So Much Fun!

The edges of the DSP have been distressed to give a vintage look. I also sponged lightly Early Espresso over the front of the card to help build on the aged effect.

For this card I chose 2 base colours.
The left fold is Whisper White and the right fold is Calypso Coral.
My layers under the distressed DSP is Early Espresso.
My front was stamped in Calyspo Coral with Early Espresso  using the Carousel Horse, the Tent and the Ferris Wheel all from Carousel Birthday stamp set. Early espresso was added to the mix after the original image was stamped to keep the theme running through the Designer Series Paper (DSP) true..
Both of the carousel horses have been fussy cut, with one cut from the DSP and added to the inside for an interest point and aiding the flow of the theme from the front to the inside.

Thank you so much for stopping by my blog.
Please keep hopping through to the end, you never know what other goodies you will find along the way!

Oh and by the way, she LOVED her card :) Horses are a fave of that little munchkin atm!

If you are looking to purchase any of the products I have sued for this project, I have listed them for your convenience in the carousal below.
